Meet Wisdom. Wisdom can be your BFF (best friend forever!). Wisdom will help anyone to think faster than a speeding bullet, be powerful than any vehicle and jump tall buildings in one simple leap! Oh sorry! That is superman, but if you practice God’s wisdom you will be one super woman!
The All-Wise God gives it freely if we ask. He did that for Solomon. Would you walk with me for a number of weeks as we gleam from the wisest man on earth, King Solomon?
King Solomon says that all wisdom is a gift from God. We sure need wisdom as women, mothers, employees, Christ-followers, and friends. Single Mom’s do not give up. As you face each week (and some are daunting I know!), each month, and each circumstance, Wisdom gives practical and sound advice to move ahead.
As you read these blogs, my prayer is that you will be encouraged to know you can have wisdom like Solomon because God wants to gift it to you. It is like a treasure chest filled with precious rubies and diamonds yet completely priceless. We just need to ask God for it.
Solomon says, “Proverbs will teach you wisdom and self-control and how to understand sayings with deep meanings. You will learn what is right and honest and fair.” Proverbs 1:2-3
Most of the verses will be from the Book of Proverbs, but as King Solomon ended his second book called Ecclesiastes, it perfectly summarizes true wisdom in Chapter 12:13,
“Everything you were taught can be put into a few words:
Respect And Obey God! This is what life is all about.”
- Write out Ecclesiastes 12:13 and keep it where you can see it.
- Ask God for His wisdom, you won’t be disappointed.
- List what you need wisdom for in the next week or so and partner with God for wisdom
- Learn what is ‘right and honest and fair’.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
