This month I have been encouraging you to keep marching ahead.

For me, this was paramount to my health and healing.  Some days I made great strides, while other days only a few steps. However, I made sure I was moving.

I encourage you to March.  In my recent blog called March Forward, I quoted “you can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one”.  Your new chapter is waiting!

Marching takes discipline and determination. Have you seen marching bands or the military marching?  It takes concentration involving hard work.  We have to do the same thing on the journey called Life.

Maybe you still desire your marriage to be together.  You want your ex-husband back, or you are mad and have feelings of bitterness.  These are natural feelings.  However, I would encourage you to make new steps to heal and make positive decisions for yourself.  It will change your life.

Psalm 94: 18 (CEV) “When I felt my feet slipping, you came with your love and kept me steady.”

ID-10080832God was able to work in me as I surrendered to Him.  There were new situations I had to face. I hated packing and moving but with faith in God’s leading, it was the best thing for the three of us. Office downsizing resulted in unemployment but I was able to spend the summer with my daughters. I was lonely; very lonely but our little team had 12 years together for which I am grateful. We could have had more years alone, but God blessed me with a husband and step-father for the girls.

A pastor once said, “don’t waste a trial’.  In Judges 7, Gideon along with 300 men faced a massive army. It seemed the impossible! Yet they trusted God that He would give them Victory despite their size.  God was in charge resulting in their Victory!

Let God help you march.  You, too, will see victories time and time again!  Some small, some huge.  March ahead, there are adventures waiting for you!

  • Think of one time God helped you March and thank Him for the victory.
  • Ask God for courage and strength to keep moving.
  • Write out two things you can do to march ahead in your healing and work on that goal.
  • Don’t waste a Trial!!
